Niels Henrik David Bohr, the second of Christian Bohr’s three kids and the daughter of an affluent banking family and Ellen Bohr, was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, on October 7, 1885. Christian Bohr was a professor of physiology on the University of Copenhagen.
He had a youthful brother named Harald and a sister named Jenny.
While Harald went on to transform a mathematician and soccer participant who represented Denmark on the 1908 Summer Olympics in London, Jenny turned a coach. The two brothers participated in quite a lot of video video games for the Copenhagen-based Akademisk Boldklub (Academic Football Club), with Niels collaborating in goalkeeper.
From the age of seven, Bohr attended the Gammelholm Latin School for his coaching. Bohr joined Copenhagen University as an undergraduate in 1903. His house of analysis was physics, and Professor Christian Christiansen was his essential instructor. At the time, he was the one physics professor on the faculty.
